Daryl P. Martin

Daryl P. Martin, 87, of Oswego Town, passed away on December 14, 2025, with her loving family by her side.

She was born in Hannibal to Ivan L. and Marjorie (Tillotson) Williamson.

Daryl married the love of her life, William F. Martin, in 1963 and enjoyed 62 years of marriage. Nursing was her passion. She was an RN and worked in many places in Oswego County. Daryl was proud of the fact that she was the first nurse hired by Oswego County Hospice.

She was an avid reader and loved to do the New York Times crossword. She enjoyed spending time with her family.

Daryl is survived by her husband, William F. Martin, and sons David W. (Kathleen) Martin of Oswego and Jeffrey D. Martin of Oswego. She is also survived by grandsons Matthew (Amanda) Martin and Ryan (Sarah Woodworth) Martin, and great-granddaughter Ellie Martin.

In addition to her parents, Daryl is preceded in death by her sisters Kathy Mohammad and Janet Ruth Zoni.

A celebration of life for Daryl will be held on January 10th at 11:00 am at the Minetto United Methodist Church, 2433 County Route 8, Oswego, NY 13126. Arrangements are under the caring guidance of Nelson Funeral Home.
