Donna M. Kostoroski

OSWEGO – Donna M. Kostoroski, 79, of Scriba, passed away at Oswego Hospital on November 24, 2024, with her loving family by her side.

Born in Oswego, she was the daughter of the late Harold and Ruth (Nichols) Kingsbury.

Donna was a homemaker who loved to take care of her family. Donna was very devoted to her family, children and friends and was always thinking of others before herself. She was a great seemstress who made and repaired many of her families clothes over the years. Donna also enjoyed bowling and creating various crafts. She enjoyed attending her osteoporosis classes.

Donna is survived by her loving husband Richard,  son Paul (Christine) Kostoroski, and daughter Dawn (Michael) Metott. She also leaves behind her loved grandchildren Jessica and Madison Kostoroski, and Matthew, Zachary, Miah, and Lillian Metott.

In addition to her parents, Donna was preceded in death by her infant daughter Georgia Marie and sisters Bernice Warden and Shirley Hare.

Family and friends are invited to call from Noon to 3 pm on Saturday November 30, 2024, with a service to follow, at Nelson Funeral Home, 11 West Albany Street, Oswego. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Donna’s name to the American Cancer Society or Oswego County SPCA, PO Box 442 Fulton NY 13069. Arrangements are under the caring guidance of Nelson Funeral Home.
