Erika Savage, 34, of Oswego, passed away unexpectedly, after a brief illness, on October 3, 2024.
Born in Oswego, she was the daughter of Ismael Perez (Ashley Ford) and Jennifer (Mike) McHenry.
Erika was a graduate of Oswego High School. She worked as a cashier at Dunkin Donuts. She loved her job and her Dunkin family. Erika was fun loving, outgoing, and always trying to put a smile on other’s faces. She loved her family and was a wonderful mother.
In addition to her loving parents, Erika is survived by her husband Brian Savage Jr. and her children Addison Handville, Ryan Handville, Wyatt Breckenridge, Mac Breckenridge, and Ian Savage. She also leaves behind siblings Ismael Perez Jr., Alix Perez, Terrance Perez, Kaden Perez, Dalton McHenry, Alysah Perez, Briana Deaver, and Cameron Ford, her grandfather Miguel and Ana Perez and step grandparents Jay and Carol McHenry, as well as several nieces and nephews.
Erika was preceded in death by her grandmothers Leslie Hammond and Jane Dashnau, and grandfather Francis Gagnon Sr.
Family and friends are invited to call on Tuesday, October 8, 2024 from 3-6 pm at Nelson Funeral Home, 11 West Albany Street. A funeral service will follow at 6 pm. Arrangements are under the caring guidance of Nelson Funeral Home.
