OSWEGO – James M. Walters, 68, of the Town of Oswego, passed away on June 22, 2025, with his family by his side.
Born in Oswego, he was the son of the late Charles and Theresa (Spath) Walters.
James was a commercial electrician with Local 43 for many years, having recieved his 45-year pin. He was a hard worker and put a lot into his trade. In the summers, he liked to golf, sit out by the pool, and BBQ with his family.
James is survived by his loving wife Robin (Mills) daughter Stefanie (Andrew) Soroka and son Michael Walters. He also leaves behind his sisters Terry (Mark) McManus, Kathy (Gary) Paige, and brother Charles (Pam) Walters.
In addition to his parents, James is predeceased by a son James Walters.
As per James’ wishes there will be no services at this time. A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
Arrangements are under the caring guidance of Nelson Funeral Home.
