OSWEGO – John Richard Fantom, 63, passed away on August 10, 2023 in Fort Lauderdale,
Florida. He was born in Oswego, NY to James H. and Diane J. (Hunter) Fantom
on July 26, 1960.
John was an avid basketball player and also played football during his school
years. John was a hard worker and won many awards including several Manager of the Year awards during his years at Rent-A-Vision.
John is survived by his children, Christopher, Lindsay and Timothy Fantom and several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and friends. He was pre-deceased
by his son, Avery J. Fantom, his parents, his brothers, James, David and Billy and sisters, Diane Fitzgerald and Cathy Mills.
Burial will be private and at the convenience of his children.
