OSWEGO – Judy Elaine Malone, 70, of Oswego, passed away on December 14, 2023, surrounded by her loving family.
Born in Antwerp New York, she was the daughter of the late Jules and Phyllis (Rapley) Mallette.
Judy worked as a claims rep for the Social Security Administration. She also worked part-time for the Oswego City School District as a teacher’s aide.
Judy enjoyed her time volunteering for the Church of the Resurrection. She loved working in the gardens. She also loved her cats and had a talent for drawing and painting. Judy loved enjoying a cocktail on her front porch.
Judy is survived by her devoted sons David E. (Wendy) Johnson, Charles W.(Jennifer) Johnson, and Aaron R. Johnson. She also leaves behind her siblings Ray (Virginia) Mallette, John (Louise) Mallette, Jarnel (Phil) Pelletier, Debbie (James) Munroe, and Zeline (Paul)Stuyvesant, and three adored grandchildren David Johnson, Jacob Johnson, and Ashton Johnson.
A memorial service will be held on May 10, 2024, at a time to be announced later, at Nelson Funeral Home, 11 West Albany Street.
