OSWEGO – Julie Barto, 84, of Oswego, New York, passed on June 22, 2021.
Born in Bronx New York, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Mary (Donohue) Bott.
Julie was a clerk for the US Postal Service in Pawling, New York. Julie loved to sing. She also enjoyed bowling and was a proud recipient of the “Big Four.” She was known for keeping a neat home, had beautiful taste and enjoyed decorating. Julie enjoyed entertaining and loved being the host to all she loved.
Julie is survived by her loving children Jeanne (Karl) Czirr of Oswego and Floyd “JR” Barto Jr. of Connecticut. She also leaves behind two brothers Michael Bott (Carol Brittain) of Broadalbin and Joseph (Penny) Bott of Gloversville, NY and two sisters Carol (Eugene) Couture of Vermont and Mary Hall of Broadalbin, as well as several nieces and nephews.
There will be a funeral service & celebration of Julie (Judy) Barto held at Halgas Funeral home in Johnstown, NY 12095 on June 30 with viewing beginning at noon to 1 p.m. There will be a 1 p.m. service at the Halgas Funeral Home followed by a graveside service and burial at the Broadalbin cemetery where she will be laid to rest beside her parents.
Arrangements are under the caring guidance of Nelson Funeral Home.
