Kathleen Ann Russo

OSWEGO – Kathleen Ann Russo, 78, a lifelong resident of Oswego, passed away on December 1, 2025, in Suwanee, GA, with her loving family at her side.

She was born in Oswego, NY, on December 28, 1946, the daughter of the late Gerald and Margaret (Fitzgerald) Martin.  Kathleen had a fierce commitment to life and family.

Better known as “Katie” to her friends, she was a caring and loving person.  She personally took care of many of her ailing family members in their final days.  She was fond of the holiday seasons, had a knack for helping anyone who asked it of her, and was known to play a slot machine or two.  She also loved to travel, especially with her husband, having visited Italy many times, Ireland, Acapulco, Hawaii, and many states.  Later in life, she was able to replicate an Alaskan Cruise trip she sent her parents on for their 50th wedding anniversary with her sons and their families.

She is survived by her proudest accomplishments, her two sons, Martin Russo of Suwanee, GA, and Rick Russo (Amy Arnoux) of Chesapeake, VA, and a grandchild, Lauren Russo.

In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her loving husband, William (Bill) Russo.

The family would like to thank her closest and dearest friends for all of their help and support during this time of need.

Per her wishes, there will be no funeral services.
