Kimberly Kennedy Crisafulli

OSWEGO – Kimberly Kennedy Crisafulli, 63, of Scottsdale AZ, formally of Oswego, passed away unexpectedly with her loving family by her side, on January 15, 2025.

Born in Oswego, Kim was the daughter of Robert and the late Joyce (Halsey) Kennedy.

She was a graduate of Oswego High School ‘79.  While attending her 10-year class reunion she met Victor Crisafulli, formally of Oswego. Soon after, she moved to Scottsdale, got married, and became co-owner, alongside Victor at Commander Produce, a wholesale produce distributor. She loved putting orders up and running the tomatoes into different pack sizes. As the company grew, Kimmy moved into the office and took over accounting for the company.

Kimmy had an eye for design and loved to tend to her gardens and plant flowers.  She was also a very talented interior designer and worked hard to create a warm, welcoming, and beautiful home for her family.  She was an excellent cook.  Her favorite thing of all was to host all holiday events and family celebrations at their home. She loved to travel with Vic from summers in San Diego to NASCAR, concerts, and sporting events across the country. She was a talented and creative artist and also enjoyed doing crossword and sudoku puzzles.  Kimmy adored her family, and she had a big heart for animals.  Her Frenchton dog, named Mr. French, was her favorite. She will be greatly missed for her beauty, big heart, full-throttle way of living, and ability to make every moment fun.

Kim is survived by her loving husband Victor Crisafulli, her sons Taylor Tice and Cody Tice, her father Robert Kennedy, her brothers Craig (Margie) Kennedy and Brad Kennedy, and her sister Melissa (Richard) Whitney, as well as several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her mother, Kim was preceded in death by her son Matthew Crisafulli and her sister Barbara Jean Kennedy Shedd.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date.  Time and location will be determined for both NY/AZ.

Arrangements are under the caring guidance of Nelson Funeral Home.
