Leo Wilder Jr.

SCRIBA, NY – With heavy hearts we announce, on Tuesday, December 1,2020, the passing of Leo Wilder Jr. in Scriba, NY.

Leo was married to Sylvia Susino in September 1964.

Leo was a lifelong resident of Scriba. He was the son of the late Leo “Lefty” and Rena Wilder. His siblings are Sharon Watson, Marlene Baker, Connie VanHorn, Merle Wilder, Tina Wilder, and the late Clifford Wilder.

Leo was a retired Operating Engineer from Local Union 545. He had a passion for carpentry, riding his Harley, and spending quality time with his loved ones.

He is survived by and will be greatly missed and forever loved by his wife Sylvia, three children: Kimberly DeGroff (Ronald), Leo “Rich” Wilder III (Jessica) and April Marx (Erik), and his beloved grandchildren Daniel “Drew” Jacobs, Karlee DeGroff, Nathan Marx, and Dylan Marx.

A celebration of Life will be held at a later date due to COVID restrictions. Leo’s arrangements are in the care of Nelson Funeral Home.
