Mary Jane Clark

Mary Jane Clark, 91, of Oswego, passed away on March 13, 2026, surrounded by her loving family.

Born in Oswego, she was the daughter of the late William Harry and May (Turkington) Lewis.

Mary worked at Fays Drug for 20+ years. She loved her church family at Faith United Church where she was the financial secretary and sang in the choir for over 40 years.  She also enjoyed gardening and knitting, loved to go to lunch with her lady friends, and was a frequent shopper at her favorite store, TJ Maxx. Mary was a member of the Oswego YMCA and the Golden Ages Club.  She also enjoyed doing crossword and jigsaw puzzles. Mary was also a lifelong Mets fan.

Mary is survived by her loving son Robert “Bob”, daughter in law Katherine “Kathy”, grandsons Matthew (Matt) and Robert (Rob) Clark and his wife Sarah. She also leaves behind sister in law Marjory Lewis, long time friend Linda Hall and several nieces of nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Robert “Boo” Clark, sisters Anna May Barthlomew, Margaret “Peg” (Richard) Somers, Chris (Albert) Burleson, brothers, Fredrick “Ted” (Marjorie) and William “Bill” (Joyce) Lewis, and sister in law Connie (Clark) Ahart.

Family and friends are invited to services at Faith United Church, Mark Fitzgibbons Drive, Oswego. Calling hours will be from 10am -12pm, followed by a  Noon funeral service on Tuesday, March 24, 2026.

Burial will take place in the spring in Riverside Cemetery.
