OSWEGO – Norma (LeRoy) Fairly, 88, a resident of Oswego, passed away on Monday, October 28.
Born in Oswego, she was the daughter of the late George and Jessie (Day) LeRoy.
Norma was a graduate of Fitzhugh Park School and Oswego High School. She was employed by NY Telephone Co. and Quality Plumbing and Heating. She later graduated from the C.E.T.A. accountant program and was employed for 21 years as manager/treasurer of SUNY Federal Credit Union until her retirement in 1997.
She is survived by her daughter Dayna (Dave) Cliff, and sons Lewis (Debbie)Lewis and Garry (Nancy) Lewis. She is also survived by seven grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren, a step-daughter M. Catherine Fairly of Colorado, and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband E. Wayne Fairly, grandson Christopher Lewis, stepson W. David Fairly, sister Mary Ann (Joe) Ross, Jessie (Jack) Carney, Shirley (Perry) Winterhalt, and brother George (Diane) LeRoy.
Friends and family are invited to attend calling hours from 9-11 A.M. on Saturday, November 2, 2024, at Nelson Funeral Home, 11 West Albany, Oswego, NY, with a funeral service to follow at 11:00 A.M. Burial at Riverside Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Make a Wish of Central NY, Mercy Flight or St. Jude’s Hospital.
