Patricia A. Cory, 68, of Oswego, passed away with her loving family by her side on October 16, 2024.
Born in Oswego, she was the daughter of the late William Murray and Shirley (Carey) Brownell.
Patricia worked for Oswego Wire as a wire braider for many years. She enjoyed crocheting, owls, and watching Blue Bloods. She loved her family and her grandchildren with all her heart. She was known for her famous homemade sauce, and she loved family gatherings. Patricia loved life and lived every day to the fullest. She made every day the best she could. Patricia was strong and independant and a true inspiration to her family and close friends.
Patricia is survived by her daughter Holly Burnswick, and her sons David (Karen) Cory, Darrell (Jennifer) Cory, and Dwight (Michele) Cory. She also leaves behind her sister Theresa (Dave) Hinman and brother William “Joey” (Michelle) Murray, as well as 10 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild on the way.
In addition to her parents, Patricia was preceded in death by her brother John Murray and nephew Kyle Murray.
Family and friends are invited to call on Monday, October 21, 2024, from 11-1 pm with a service to follow at Nelson Funeral Home, 11 West Albany Street. Burial will follow at Ira Union Cemetery, 12956 White Cemetery Road. Arrangements are under the caring guidance of Nelson Funeral Home.
