Raymond R Dupell Jr, 72, formally of Palm Coast, Florida, passed away suddenly on August 27, 2024, at University Hospital in Syracuse, New York after a prolonged, courageous struggle with Parkinson’s disease.
He was born in Sacramento, California into a USAF Colonels -Family, and grew up coast to Coast living at various Air Force Bases throughout the US. He graduated from the Franklin Institute in Massachusetts with a mechanical engineering degree and spent his entire professional life in the automotive management industry. He retired in 2005 from MBUSA after a long and successful career.
He is survived by his loving wife, Marie (Demore) formerly from Oswego, New York, sister, Maureen (Dupell) Davis of York, Pennsylvania, son Joseph Dupell (Meredith) of Wolfeboro, New Hampshire, daughter, Kathryn (Walter) Dishongh of Clinton, Utah and five grandchildren – Sophia, Everett, and Delphine, Dupell and Emma and Mae Dishongh, as well as his “informally-adopted” daughter, Paula Owens of Longwood, FL.
There will be no calling hours and his burial will be at his family plot in Merrimack, New Hampshire. Arrangements are under the caring guidance of Nelson Funeral Home.
