Richard P. Pryor Jr.

OSWEGO – Richard P. Pryor Jr., 69, of Oswego passed away on April 2, 2023. Born in Oswego, Richard was the son of the late Richard P. Sr. and Loretta (Haynes) Pryor.

Richard attended classes at Onondaga Community College. He worked as a laborer for the local 214 for many years.

Richard is survived by his son Justin Pryor of California and his daughter Debbie LaFave of Oswego. He is also survived by his siblings Russell (Crystal) Pryor of Oswego, Gale Castaldo of Oswego, and Brenda Rowe, of Oswego, and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, Richard was preceded in death by his wife Margaret (Smith) Pryor.

Richard was an avid hunter and fisherman. He also enjoyed golf and was a video gamer.

Private family services will be held at a later date. Arrangements are under the caring guidance of Nelson Funeral Home.
