OSWEGO – Robert D. Mills Jr., 70, of Oswego, passed away unexpectedly at home on January 29, 2024.
Robert was born in Oswego to the late Robert D. Mills and Antoinette (Newberry) Mills.
He was a lifetime resident of Oswego, where he was the sole owner/operator of Lone Wolf Taxi Service. In his earlier years, he worked as a manager and driver with Horan Taxi as well as Zellar Taxi before opening his own business. Above all, Robert loved his family and enjoyed spending quality time with them. Robert will always be remembered for his sense of humor. He enjoyed telling jokes and making people laugh.
Robert is survived by his siblings; Dawn (Mills) Hannock of Oswego, Gale (Mills) Waas of Cookville, TN, Anne (Mills) Samson of Oswego, David Mills of Miramar Beach Florida, Terri (Mills) Murphy and husband Paul Murphy of Oswego, as well as several nieces and nephews.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to the Oswego Dialysis Clinic and Pontiac Nursing Home for taking such great care of Robert.
There will not be services at this time. A celebration of life will be held at a later date to be announced at the convenience of the family.
