Sharon A. Sincavage

OSWEGO – Sharon A. Sincavage, 80, of Oswego, passed away on January 8, 2024, surrounded by her loving family.

Born and raised in Oswego, she was the daughter of the late Arthur and Frieda (Paulik) Reynolds.

Sharon was a graduate of Oswego Catholic High School.  She met and married the love of her life, William, and raised their three children.  Sharon and William shared 60 wonderful years of marriage. She was a loving wife and mother and enjoyed being a devoted homemaker.

Sharon was an avid sports fan, both in supporting her kids and grandchildren in their sporting events, as well as being a Syracuse Basketball and NY Yankee fan.  She also enjoyed bowling, and doing crossword puzzles, and she loved gardening.

Sharon is survived by her loving husband William R. Sincavage Sr. and children William R. Jr. (Margie) Sincavage of Oswego, Thomas (Julieanne) Sincavage of Canajoharie, and Susan (Jeff) Sawyer of Sterling.  She also leaves behind seven adored grandchildren  Ethan(Hannah) Hall, Elizabeth (Nick) Keppler, Caroline (Eric) Wallace,  Jillian Hall (Zach Gombas), Owen Sincavage, Madeleine Sincavage, and Gavin Sincavage, great-granddaughter Blake Adelaide Keppler, and sisters in law Barbara and Gloria Reynolds, as well as many nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents,  Sharon was preceded in death by her siblings James (Carol) Reynolds, John Reynolds, Ronald Reynolds, Carol (Joe) Quinn, June (Don) Delapp, and Mary (Mike) Parker.

Family and friends are invited to call on Thursday, January 11, 2024, from 3-6 pm at Nelson Funeral Home, 11 West Albany Street.  A Catholic Funeral Mass will be held at 11 am on Friday, January 12th at Our Lady of Perpetual Help, Minetto.  Burial will follow in St. Peter Cemetery.  Donations can be made in Sharon’s name to our local dialysis location, Dialysis Clinic, Inc. at 180 West Third Street, Oswego. Arrangements are under the caring guidance of Nelson Funeral Home.
