OSWEGO – Sylvia (Astle) Kobylenski, 79, beloved wife of Raymond Kobylenski for almost 62 years, passed away due to complications with Alzheimer’s on December 23, 2020.
Sylvia was born in Portland, CT on May 31, 1940 and was the daughter of the late Doris (Dee) Wisneski and late John Astle. Sylvia retired from the State of Connecticut where she worked for 28 years. Sylvia was currently residing in Oswego, NY with her husband for the last three years.
Sylvia leaves behind her son Christopher Kobylenski and his wife Cindy Kobylenski, her daughter Linda (Kobylenski) LoSchiavo and her husband Paul LoSchiavo, her daughter Sherry (Kobylenski) Schwarm and her husband David Schwarm and her daughter Melanie (Kobylenski) Brewbaker. Sylvia also leaves behind nine grandchildren (and one deceased granddaughter), seven great-grandchildren and two sisters.
There will be no services. Arrangements are in the care of Nelson Funeral Home.
