Theresa A. Stock

OSWEGO – Theresa A. Stock, 65, of Oswego, passed away at home, surrounded by her loving family.

Born in Philadelphia, PA she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Mary (Holmes) Smith and stepparents Karen Smith and Robert Sawyer Sr.

Terry was a loving homemaker. She adored her family and loved time with her children and grandchildren.  Terry enjoyed gardening, taking trips to the casino with her good friends, and loved music and dancing.  She loved to laugh and was always up for a good time. Terry was a member of the Moose Lodge.

Terry is survived by her loving children Teressa Slimmer of Oswego, Joseph (Melanie) Stock Jr. of Oswego, and Bryan Stock of Oswego.  She also leaves behind her siblings Joseph (Mary Lynn) Smith Jr. of Florida, Paul (Billie Jo) Smith of Fulton, Robert Sawyer of Oswego, Joel (Maura) Smith of NJ, Mary Jo (Lee) Rostein of NJ, Christina DiFrancia of NJ, and Joanna (Jim) Seashotz of NJ, 7 beloved grandchildren Alexis Pascho, Brady (Kristen) Slimmer, Presley Slimmer, Rylee Teifke, Bryan Stock Jr., Kyren Stock, and Noah Stock, as well as several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Terry was preceded in death by her husband Joseph Stock Sr. in 2010.

Family and friends are invited to call on Tuesday, July 9th from 10-12 with a funeral service to follow at Nelson Funeral Home, 11 West Albany Street.  Burial will follow at North Scriba Cemetery.  Arrangements are under the caring guidance of Nelson Funeral Home.
