OSWEGO COUNTY – Thomas F. Tucker, 73, of Minetto passed away on March 23, 2025, with his family by his side.
Born in Oswego, he was the son of the late Charles Tucker and Mary (Joy) Patotzka.
Thomas graduated from Oswego High School. He married the love of his life, LaDonna (Keefe) Tucker, and together, they raised their children. He worked for many years at Niagara Mohawk as a dispatcher and mechanic.
Thomas was a loving husband, father, and grandfather. His family was everything to him, and he loved spending time with them. He also enjoyed watching hockey. He was a big Oswego State Laker fan and never missed watching his grandchildren play. Thomas was an active member of Trinity United Methodist Church and served as Chairman of the Trustees Committee.
Thomas is survived by his loving wife of 54 years LaDonna, children Christopher (Kimberly) Tucker and Melissa (Jeffrey) Lisk both of Minetto and grandchildren Zemiah (Ashley) Phrance, Zoe Joy Lisk, Christopher Tucker Jr., and Caiden J. Tucker. He also leaves behind sisters Penny (Brent) Helmers of Lincoln, CA, Wendy (Eric) Ylitalo of Colfax, CA, and Amy (Danny) Mercado of Placerville, CA, as well as many nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, Thomas was preceded in death by his sister Joy Chappel of Chico, CA.
A celebration of life will be held later on a date to be announced. Donations can be made in Thomas’s name to Trinity United Methodist Church, 45 East Utica Street, Oswego. Arrangements are under the caring guidance of Nelson Funeral Home.
