Wayne Eaton

OSWEGO – Wayne Eaton, 73, of Oswego, passed away on April 16, 2025.

Born in Syracuse, he was the son of the late Richard and Nellie (Cody) Eaton.

Wayne was employed as a cleaner at McDonald’s. He also worked for several years at Oswego Industries.

Wayne grew up in Williamstown. He was a country music and film fan, especially Johnny Cash and John Wayne. He also enjoyed relaxing while watching the cars go by.

Wayne is survived by his brother James Eaton and sisters Debra Perkins and Lori Clark.

He was predeceased by his brothers Richard, William, and John Eaton and his sisters Rose Eaton and Linda Wing.

Family and friends are invited to call from 10 to 11 AM on Thursday, April 24, 2025, with a service to follow with Pastor Brandin Greco at Nelson Funeral Home, 11 W. Albany Street.

Burial will follow at West Amboy Cemetery.

Arrangements are under the caring guidance of Nelson Funeral Home.
