OSWEGO COUNTY – William W. Bruce, 87, of Minetto, passed away on March 17, 2024.
Born in Bellefonte, PA, he was the son of the late David and Julia (Hines) Bruce.
Bruce was a graduate of Monroe High School. He then served in the Navy from 1957 to 1961.
Bruce worked as a service tech for many years. His career began at RF Communications where he worked from 1965 to 1973. He then went to Scientific Radio until 1978 and finished out his career at Metrosonics in Rochester until his retirement in 2002.
Bruce was a former member of the Bible Baptist Church in Scriba and enjoyed Christian literature and the bible. He also loved history, reading war books, and collecting stamps. He loved his family, spending time with them, and going on road trips.
Bruce is survived by his loving children Allen Bruce, Daniel Bruce and Sandra Coady, his grandson Drew Coady, his ex-wife of 11 years Geraldine Peach, and several nieces and nephews.
Services will be held privately at the convenience of the family.
