Anne Marie Boardway-Castaño, of AlmerÃa, Spain died early morning on August 10, 2010 after a short illness.
Anne Marie was born in Oswego but a resident of Spain for most of her life. She was a graduate of Oswego schools and attended SUNY Oswego and La Universidad de Salamanca. In Spain, she taught and tutored English.
Anne Marie was the daughter of the late Robert & Nicoletta (Kanellis) Boardway. She is survived by her two sons Alejandro Castaño-Boardway of Salamanca, Spain and Roberto Castaño-Boardway of Aguilas, Spain and two sisters Connie (Mike) Cook and Melissa Gentile of Oswego and many nieces and nephews.
Burial will take place at St. Peter’s Cemetery. Services will be private and burial will be at the convenience of the family.
