Barbara Anne Lincoln LeBlanc Nichols, 75

OSWEGO, NY – Barbara Anne Lincoln LeBlanc Nichols, 75, a resident of 131 W. First St. in Oswego, passed away Monday Oct. 1, 2012, at her home.

Mrs. Nichols was born in Syracuse, the daughter of the late Hugh and Dorothy (Von Holtz) Lincoln.

She was raised in Oswego by her mother and step-father, the late Robert Baker, and she attended Oswego schools.

Prior to her retirement, she was employed as an LPN at the Scottsdale Health Center in Arizona.

She had formerly worked as a cost analyst with ITT Grinnell Piping in Oswego, and had also worked locally as an LPN.

She was a former member of the Scriba Volunteer Fire Department, and had served as a volunteer with the McFee Ambulance Service (Mexico).

She is survived by eight children, Renee LeBlanc Johnson (Jim) of Columbia, SC, Kimberly LeBlanc of Middleburg, NY, Kelly LeBlanc (Jessica) of Peoria, Ariz., Therese Fosdick of Kansas City, Missouri, Sean LeBlanc (Jackie Johnson) of Oswego, Tami Kinney (Chris) of Oswego, Christopher LeBlanc (Patricia) of Tucson, Ariz. and Timothy LeBlanc of Binghamton, NY; and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

A gathering to celebrate her life will be held from 4 to 5 p.m. Saturday, at the Dain-Cullinan Funeral Home, 112 E. Second St., Oswego.
