OSWEGO, NY – Barbara Hitchcock, 82, formerly of O’Connor Road, Oswego, passed away Thursday April 12, 2012, at the Minetto Senior Housing.
Born in Minetto, she was the daughter of the late Leon and Nina (Harding) Dumas.
She enjoyed spending time with her family, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Surviving are three daughters, Donna (Harold) Morley of Oswego, Deborah (Paul) Kenyon of Macedon, NY and Connie (Kenneth) Gould of Minetto; two sons, Robert (Robin) Hitchcock of Minetto and Thomas (Mary) Hitchcock of Scriba; three brothers, Edward, Richard and Fred Dumas, all of Minetto; three sisters, Tessa Price of Oswego, Dawn Hart of Minetto and Mary McCann of Oswego; thirteen grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her husband, Robert Hitchcock; and her siblings, Doris Godfrey, Lois LaFore, Donald Dumas and Lyle Dumas.
Funeral services will be held 10 a.m. Monday at the Minetto United Methodist Church, 2433 County Route 8.
Burial will be in Minetto Cemetery.
