PHOENIX, NY – Barbara Jean Neadle, 81, a longtime resident of Phoenix and Fulton areas, passed away on Friday March 29, 2013.
She was born to her late parents, Frances Mason Potts and Caleb H. Potts.
Barbara attended Phoenix schools and later became a fine homemaker.
She was predeceased by her husband, Frederick J. Neadle Sr.; a brother, Donald Potts; three sisters, Dorothy M. Ylitalo, Vivian F. Potts and Nancy Potts.
Survivors include her son, Frederick J. Neadle Jr., and his wife, Simodosea of Syracuse; two brothers, Francis “Ralph” Potts of Central Square and Leonard James Potts of Tunnel Hill, Ga.; three sisters, Eleanor A. Sedner of Fulton, Wilma K. Sedner
of Madison, Va. and Joyce N. Patterson of Fulton; four grandchildren, Laurence, Emily, Gillian and Cora; four great-grandchildren.
Services will be held on Tuesday at 9:30 a.m. in the Allanson-Glanville-Tappan Funeral
Home, Phoenix, followed by a 10 a.m. funeral mass in St. Stephen’s Church, 469 Main St., Phoenix.
Burial will be later in the spring in Pennellville Cemetery, County Route 54, Pennellville.
Calling hours will be held on Monday from 5 to 8 p.m. in the funeral home, 431 Main St.
