OSWEGO, NY – Barry R. Russell, 66, of Oswego, passed away Tuesday evening April 1, 2014, at his home.
He was born in Queens and was the son of Elaine Freiwirth Russell and the late Donald Russell.
Mr. Russell was the husband of Nancy Schwarz Russell.
He served in the US Air Force.
Mr. Russell was a self employed auto mechanic and body repairman.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by his mother, Nancy of Copiague; three daughters, Jennifer Shriger of Missouri, Patricia Diaz of Oyster Bay and Samantha Russell of Oswego; five sons, Jamie Russell of Long Island, Michael Russell of Massachusetts, Ryan Russell of Oswego, William Russell of Syracuse and Jesse Russell of Oswego; and several grandchildren and nieces and nephews.
Calling hours will be Friday 4-6 p.m. at the Dain-Cullinan Funeral Home with a service to follow.
