OSWEGO, NY – Beth Marie Ferguson, 32 of Oswego, passed away on Tuesday February 12, 2013.
Beth was born in Oswego on February 27, 1980.
She graduated from Mexico High School and continued on to receive an Associate’s degree in Liberal Arts from Cayuga Community College.
Because of her love to interact with and help people, Beth’s favorite job was working at IME Co. in customer service and as an administrative assistant.
Beth enjoyed being outdoors and had a passion for animals, especially her cat, Tyson.
Beth was always happy.
Her caring, witty and funny nature made her an easygoing daughter, sister, aunt and friend that we love so much.
Beth was happy reading, listening to music and spending time with her friends and family.
She always brought with her a light hearted and humorous atmosphere wherever she would go and her smile and charm would light any room she entered.
Beth is survived by parents, Robert and Colleen Ferguson; grandmother, Beatrice Smith; sisters, Christine Farrell (Edward), Robin Burdick (Marvin), Kimberly Jada (Louis) and Margaret Murabito (Michael); brother, James Ferguson (Alinna); nieces, Kayla Burdick (Brian), Natasha (Zack), Arianna Burdick and Natalie Jada; nephews, Nicholas Barnes, Zachary and Jacob Farrell, and Evan Burdick; loving boyfriend, Bill Ridgeway.
Beth was preceded in death by grandparents, Donald Smith, and William and Irene Ferguson.
Beth, “We will miss your smile and light. Despite our sadness we take comfort in knowing that you are at peace and that we have been blessed with the gift of your love throughout the years. You are forever in our memory.” – Your loving family.
Calling hours will be held 2-5 p.m. Sunday at the Nelson Funeral Home, 11 W. Albany St., Oswego.
Spring burial will be in Hillside Cemetery, Scriba.
