PHOENIX, NY – Betty J. Thompson, 85, of Phoenix, passed away on Wednesday June 18, 2014.
She was a member of the Phoenix United Methodist Church, past president of the Schroeppel Historical Society and a former member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the Phoenix Fire Department.
Betty was predeceased by her son, Bruce Vernon Thompson, on February 28, 2006.
Surviving are her loving husband of 66 years, John B. Thompson; and a nephew, Carl A. Dimon.
Services will be held at 10 a.m. on Wednesday at the Allanson-Glanville-Tappan Funeral Home, 431 Main St., Phoenix.
Carl A. Dimon will officiate the services.
Interment will follow in Phoenix Rural Cemetery, 126 Chestnut St., Phoenix.
