Charles Pasco, 87, a resident of Christopher Circle, Oswego, passed away January 28, 2011 at St. Joseph’s Hospital, Syracuse.
Born in Oswego, he was the son of the late Anthony and Catherine Pasco.
At 16 years old he joined the National Guard, 27th Division 108th Infantry, Company D. He was activated on October 1940, served in the Pacific Theater of Operations in WWII until 1945. After discharge he worked as an insurance Man.
Chuck was employed by Currier Press in Vermont.
He also was a partner with his brother, Steve and then worked at Oswego Acme Plate until his retirement.
Surviving are a sister, Jane Vassachio of Florida; a niece Ellen Ann (Mike Rodriquez) Spano; a sister in law, Ellen M. Spano; and great-nephews, Sean Michael Spano and Brian Michael Rodriquez.
He was predeceased by his wife, Shirley (Gillen) Pasco and a brother, Steven Pasco.
Funeral Services will be held 10a.m. Tuesday at the Nelson Funeral Home. Entombment will be at St. Peter’s Cemetery in his private mausoleum.
Calling hours will be held 2-4pm. Monday, at the funeral home, 11 West Albany St. Oswego.
