OSWEGO, NY – In loving memory of our father, Clifford Wilder, at age 73, of Oswego, predeceased by his loving companion of 33 years, Cathie Garrison of Oswego, passed away Sunday June 28, 2015, son of the late Leo (Lefty) and Rena Wilder.
He was a railroader from 1970-1981 and a co-owner of Cathie’s wing shops of Fulton/Oswego for many years.
Dad’s real passion in life was traveling up and down the east coast with the carnivals/fairs from the age of 15.
He made many life-long friends along the way and enjoyed every minute of it and we enjoyed his stories!
Some of his many hobbies, he loved NASCAR racing, fishing, playing cards, bingo and the casinos.
He is survived by his six children, Jeffery Wilder (Ashley) of Fulton, Beverly Wilder (Shane) of Canasta, Carol Tyler (Walter) of Hannibal, Victoria Rushmore (Mark) of Baldwinsville, Gregory Wilder (Debbie) of Fulton and Scott Wilder (Linda) of Oswego; three step-children, Lisa Vandish, Holly Racha and Robert Garrison; his siblings, Leo Wilder (Sue) of Oswego, Sharon Watson of Fulton, Marlene Baker (Jim) of Fulton, Connie VanHorn of Fulton, Merle Wilder (Tammy) of Hannibal, Tina Furlong of Fulton and Max (Yorkie); and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
He will be missed by all who knew him.
It will be a private family service as per his wishes.
Burial will be in Fairdale Cemetery.
