Dale A. Sedner, 80

PHOENIX, NY – Dale A. Sedner, 80, of County Route 10, Pennellville, passed away at home on Sunday December 30, 2012.

She was born in New Haven, NY, to her late parents, Edna D. (Raymond) and George A. Emlaw on March 16, 1932.

She was a meat cutter for Acme Food Markets in North Syracuse, also worked for Will & Baumer Candle Co., Syracuse.

She was an avid outdoors woman, hunting and fishing and was a former member of the Mattydale Rod & Gun Club; and loved the game Bingo.

She was predeceased by her husband of 23 years, Clifford E. Sedner, in August 2002; her sister, Edna Dawn Riddel, in 2010; her brother George W. Emlaw, in 2011; and a son-in-law, Arthur R. Hansen, in 2008.

Surviving are her two daughters, Linda (Bruce) Hart of Phoenix and Pam Hansen of Fulton; four grandchildren, Kelly Hart, Kathy Hansen, Jason Hart and John Hansen; eight great-grandchildren; several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Services will be held on Saturday at 3 p.m. with the Rev. Diane Bradshaw officiating.

Calling hours will be conducted before the service from 1 to 3 p.m. all at the Allanson-Glanville-Tappan Funeral Home, 431 Main St., Phoenix.
