Donald F. Bressler, 94

OSWEGO, NY – Donald F. Bressler, 94, a resident of East Utica Street, Oswego, passed away Tuesday July 28, 2015, at home.

Born in Bronx, NY, he was the son of the late Ludwig and Anna Bressler.

Donald was a U.S. Army veteran, serving during World War II from 1939-1945.

Following the war, Don served as a commander of the National Guard Company D until retiring in 1980 with the rank of major.

He retired from Sealright in Fulton.

He loved golf and the Yankees.

Surviving is his wife of 72 years, Helen (Rodak) Bressler; two daughters, Donna Dehm and Judy (Dan) Dixon, both of Oswego; four grandchildren, Scott (Amy Hauk) Dehm, Aaron Dehm, Gregory Dixon and Abby Dixon; one great-grandson, Victor Dehm.

There are no calling hours.

A funeral mass will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, August 3, at St. Peter’s Church.

Entombment will be in St. Peter’s Cemetery, All-Saints’ Mausoleum.
