Dora Whitaker, 97, a former resident of Rochester, passed away Sunday, April 28, 2013, at St. Luke Health Services in Oswego.
Mrs. Whitaker was born in Rochester, the daughter of the late Percival and Ethel (Smithers) Tobutt.
She was the wife of the late William Whitaker, who died in 1999.
She is survived by two granddaughters, Laura (Gavin) Riley, of Oswego and Debby (Doug) Babcock, of Mesa, Arizona; and eight grandchildren.
She was predeceased by a daughter, Judith Sainio; and a son, David Whitaker.
Graveside services will be held at 3 p.m. Friday at Pine Hill Cemetery in Rush, NY.
There will be no calling hours.
