Edward C. Hoffman, 63, of Sarasota, Fla., formerly of Fulton, NY, died on Wednesday September 18, 2013, at home after a brief illness.
Ed was a Home Improvement Contractor in Sarasota and a retired Police Officer in upstate New York.
Survivors include his wife, Jane; children Sean (Kerri) Hoffman, Brenda (Tom) Abelgore and Brandon Hoffman; five grandchildren, Nicholas, Alexia, Ethan Abelgore, Kiersten and Karoline Hoffman; two brothers, George (Yuki) and Steven (Kathy) Hoffman; two sisters, Gloria Hoffman and Helene (Mark) Riley; several nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life will follow after the burial on Monday.
A memorial service will be held at Holy Trinity Parish in Fulton on October 14 at 9:30 a.m.
