OSWEGO, NY – Frances F. Chrystal, 74 of Oswego, passed away Monday evening March 30, 2015, in Oswego Hospital.
She was born in Oswego and was the daughter of the late Joseph and Nora Gorman Cortese.
Mrs. Chrystal had been employed for many years at the medical office of Dr. Yousef Sbaih in Oswego.
She was a member of the Oswego Business and Professional Women Organization.
Mrs. Chrystal was a Communicant of St. Mary’s Church.
She was the widow of James H. Chrystal III, who died on June 29, 2011.
She is survived by one daughter, Cathleen (Daniel) Maniccia of Oswego; one son, James J. (Ganine) Chrystal of Catonsville, Md.; two sisters, Joan Stell of Sodus, NY, and Amy Cortese of Santa Fe, NM; four grandchildren, Daniel Maniccia, Meghan Maniccia, Devlin Chrystal and Max Chrystal that she adored and enjoyed spending time with; and one niece, Mika Pittman.
Funeral services will be Monday 6 p.m. at the Dain-Cullinan Funeral Home.
Calling hours will be held Monday 4-6 p.m. prior to the service.
Burial will be in St. Paul’s Cemetery.
