OSWEGO, NY – Frances L. Tynan, 76, a resident of Scriba, passed away Saturday May 18, 2013, at St. Joseph’s Hospital, Syracuse.
Born in Newburgh, NY, she was the daughter of the late Myron and Irene (Woodcock) Schaefer.
She retired in 1999 from St. Paul’s Academy where she was secretary for 23 years.
Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her son, William; and her sister, Barbara Bosco.
She is survived by her husband, Harry Sr. of 58 years; and her five sons, Harry Jr. (Cindy) of Oswego, James (Darlene) of Oswego, Timothy (Michele) of East Amherst, NY, Michael of Scriba, and Robert (Becky) of Syracuse, Ind.; several grandchildren; great-grandchildren; her brother, James Schaefer of North Syracuse; and several nieces and nephews.
