OSWEGO, NY – Helen L. Oswald, 94, a resident of Oswego, passed away Sunday February 23, 2014, at St. Luke Health Services.
Born in Oswego, she was the daughter of the late George and Grace (Rogers) Crimmins.
Helen was an avid reader and enjoyed crossword puzzles.
She especially enjoyed spending time with her family.
Surviving are her son, Mark (Carol) Oswald of Oswego; one grandson, Michael Oswald of Chicago, Ill.; three sisters-in-law; several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, John M. Oswald, in 2012; and by her brother, George Crimmins Jr.
Calling hours will be held 5-6:30 p.m. Thursday, with services to follow, at Nelson Funeral Home, 11 W. Albany St., Oswego.
Burial will be held 11 a.m. Friday in St. Peter’s Cemetery.
The family would like to thank the staff at St. Luke’s for the care they gave to Helen.
