OSWEGO, NY – Janet A. Ramstad, 73, a resident of Oswego, passed away Saturday July 13, 2013, at Morningstar Care Center.
Born in Wakefield, RI, she was the daughter of the late Nelson and Madeline (Baker) Bowen.
She was a homemaker and enjoyed traveling with her husband while he served with the Navy.
She enjoyed bowling, golfing, sailing and spending time with her family and grandchildren.
Surviving are her husband, Robert Ramstad; two daughters, Karen (Jack) LeBlanc of Frankford and Jean (fiance Michael Bujnowski) Ramstad of Sunrise, Fla.; a son, David (Connie) Ramstad of Denver, Colo.; two sisters, Robin and Susan Bowen, both of Boston; five grandchildren; one great-grandchild; several nieces and nephews.
Calling hours will be held 4-7 p.m. Wednesday, with a service to follow at the Nelson Funeral Home, 11 W. Albany St., Oswego.
