OSWEGO, NY – Jeanette Ellen McIntosh Currier, 81, a resident of Fort Walton Beach, Florida, since 2008, and formerly of Oswego, NY, passed away after an extended illness on Saturday December 28, 2013.
Jeanette was a loving mother, grandmother, sister and friend.
She placed her family first and always had an encouraging word to share.
Working out of her home, Jeanette (GeeGee) was a talented seamstress.
She enjoyed playing cards especially with Papa Joe and Bert and watching her Yankees play baseball.
Jeanette is survived by her children, Anne Bechtel (Mark Libby) of Shalimar, Florida and Scott Currier ( Dawn) of Oswego; grandchildren, Brittany and Kiley Bechtel, Michael Libby (Alxzondra), Danielle and Dylan Currier; great-granddaughter, Charlie Teagan Libby; brother, Orin McIntosh (Shirley) of Virginia; sisters, Sally Spath (Bill) of Oswego and Kathy Rucynski (Jack) of Parrish, NY; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her sister, Marsha Schaffer; and her parents.
Services will be held at a later date in Oswego.
