OSWEGO, NY – Joan C. Fragale, 78, a resident New York City and formerly of Oswego, passed away Sunday July 13, 2014, at the Bronx-Lebanon Hospital, Bronx, New York.
She was born in Brooklyn and was the daughter of the late Angelo and Prudence Pagillo Marturano.
Mrs. Fragale was the widow of the Joseph Fragale who died in 2006.
She was a communicant of St. Joseph’s Church.
Surviving are three daughters, Cynthia Fragale of Kenosha, Wisconsin, Susan (Steve) Ross of Scriba and Judy Roberts of Oswego; two sons, Joseph (Virginia Palmitesso) Fragale of Oswego and Gregory (Chad) Hoffman-Fragale of New York City; eight grandchildren, Lauren Coddington of Pleasant Prarie, Wisc., Lindsay Roberts of Rochester, NY, Ashley Roberts of Lakeland, Fla., Jeffrey Roberts of Ocala, Fla., Kelsey Ross of Oswego, Brittany Ross of Syracuse, Charlene Fragale of Oswego and Kaylene Fragale of Oswego.
Funeral services will be held Saturday at 8:30 a.m. at the Dain-Cullinan Funeral Home and at 9 a.m. at St. Joseph’s Church.
Calling hours will be held Friday from 4-7 p.m. at the funeral home.
Burial will be private at the convenience of the family.
