PHOENIX, NY – Joseph M. Harriger (Tennesee Jody) was born August 30, 1937, and passed away Friday March 11, 2016.
He will be missed and remembered by his loving children, grandchildren, brothers, sisters, nephews, nieces, cousins and close personal friends.
He was predeceased by his wife of 43 years, Evelyn (Duell), in August 2013.
He was an Army veteran and the owner/operator of Jody’s Well Drilling, 30+ years.
A lead singer and guitarist for more than 60 years, he was inducted into Country Music Hall of Fame, Cortland, NY.
He performed with the Jamboree Boys for Nashville shows in the Syracuse area.
People who truly loved country music, truly loved Jody!
A celebration of life will be held at the American Legion in Phoenix on Saturday March 19, from 5 to 9 p.m.
