MEXICO, NY – Kathaleen J. Hermann, 65, a resident of 5814 Scenic Ave., Village of Mexico, passed away Tuesday morning Oct. 26, 2010, in Oswego Hospital.
She was born in Oswego and was the daughter of the late Milford E. and Lillian A Drury Sheldon.
She was the wife of George H. Hermann.
Mrs. Hermann was a former member of Trinity Methodist Church and had been active in the choir and taught Sunday school for many years.
She had been employed for many years as a lab technician at Oswego Hospital and more recently as the receptionist at the Oswego County Health Department until her retirement.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by two daughters, Jennifer (Chris) Miller of New Haven and Sue Knight of Mexico; one brother, Ralph Sheldon of Wolcott; three stepsons, Paul Hermann and Rick Hermann both of Mexico and Shawn Hermann of New Haven; one stepdaughter, Cathy Corey of Mexico; three grandchildren, Nicole Miller, Mikayla Towner and Madeleine Towner; and several step grandchildren.
She was predeceased by a sister, Marjorie Sheldon.
Memorial services will be Thursday at 6 p.m. at the Dain-Cullinan Funeral Home.
Visitation will be 4 to 6 p.m. prior to the service.
