OSWEGO, NY – Lawrence N. Worden, 79, a resident of Meadow Brook Manor, Hannibal, passed away Monday October 15, 2012, at Oswego Hospital.
Born in Volney Center, NY, he was the son of the late Lawrence and Lillian (Pluff) Worden.
He worked in maintenance at SUNY Oswego for 22 years, retiring in 1985.
Surviving are his son, Harold Worden of Oswego; four sisters, Christine Smith, of Oswego, Norma (David) Kernan of Oswego, Hazel Holmes of Oswego and Ruth Clark Halstead of Fulton.
He was predeceased by two sons, Lawrence and Jeffery Worden; and sisters, Alice Danforth and Martha Falcetti.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday at the Nelson Funeral Home.
Burial will follow at the Oswego Town Rural Cemetery.
Calling hours will be held noon to 1 p.m. prior to the service, at the funeral home, 11 W. Albany St., Oswego.
