PHOENIX, NY – Lynn D. Hamlin, 71, of Phoenix, passed away on Saturday April 5, 2014, after a long bout with Parkinson’s Disease.
He was born to his late parents Mildred (Zogg) and Roy M. Hamlin on June 18, 1942.
Lynn was a chemical engineer and owned and operated Nakoh Chemical, Inc., Syracuse.
He was a former employee of Chem Tech Industries.
Lynn was an avid boater.
His favorite place was the Thousand Islands region and he loved being on the water.
He was a member of the Syracuse Sail & Power Squadron.
He enjoyed playing card games and was a big Yankee baseball fan.
He was predeceased by his brother, Wayne M. Hamlin, on Nov. 4, 2008.
Surviving are his loving wife of 30 years, Debra J. (Hubbard) Hamlin; three sons, Mitchell Hamlin of Fulton, David Hamlin of Clay and Lynn (Jessica) Ewald of Reston, Va.; two granddaughters, Ashley Hamlin and Adalyn Hamlin.
A graveside service only, will occur in the upcoming weeks in Phoenix Rural Cemetery, 126 Chestnut St., Phoenix
