Margaret L. Wiley, 97

PHOENIX, NY – Margaret  L. Wiley, 97, a recent resident of Syracuse Home Association, Baldwinsville, passed away at that facility on Tuesday June 9, 2015.

More recently, Margaret resided at the St. Mary’s Apartments, 100 La Madre Way, Baldwinsville, NY.

She was born in Brushton, NY, to her late parents, Florence S. (Clark) (1935) and Roswell B. Conger (1982), on October 6, 1917.

Margaret graduated from Phoenix High School, class of 1937.

Most of her life was spent in Pennellville, NY.

Margaret was employed by Gaylord Brothers Co., Liverpool, NY, retiring in 1980.

She was a member of Pennellville United Methodist Church and its Sunshine Club; Seneca River Order of Amaranth, Chapter 120, Baldwinsville; Order of Eastern Star, Chapter 172,  Phoenix; Order of the White Shrine of Jerusalem, Bethlehem 2, Fayetteville.

She was predeceased by her husband, Donald C. Wiley, on August 19, 1987; her sisters, Kathleen E. Henderson on Sept. 27, 1964, and Esther Mary Corey on  Sept. 28, 2002; her brothers, Byron Conger and Burt L. Conger.

Surviving are her son and daughter-in-law, James D. and Mary (Germain) Wiley of Baldwinsville; three grandchildren and their spouses, Bridget M. (Wiley) and Michael K. Wojnovich of Manlius, James C. and Jodi L.Wiley of Marcellus and Joshua and Bianca Wiley of Albuquerque, NM; five great-grandchildren, Sophia, Olivia, and Isabella Wojnovich, Aiden and Rory Wiley,  a sixth, Margo, is due in August.

There are no calling hours.

Graveside services in Pennellville Cemetery are private and at the convenience of the family.
