Marilyn Foster-Knoop

Marilyn Foster-Knoop Born: April 16, 1932 Died: October 22, 2018.

Marilyn was the daughter of George F. Foster and Mabel Horr-Foster of Oswego, NY.

She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Jacob R. (Ritchie) and Sherri Taylor-Knoop. She also leaves behind one sister, Sally Foster-Bennehoff and her husband, Donald, and her brother-in-law and sister-in-law Harry and Phyllis Knoop of Michigan.

Also surviving is her step-daughter and step-son Ashley and Joey.

She also has one granddaughter, Jaime Leigh Knoop and four step-grandchildren.

Marilyn was predeceased by her husband Jacob R. Knoop and her loving parents.

She also leaves her memory to many nieces and nephews.

Marilyn resided in Fort Mill and Rock Hill, SC, as well as Murrells Inlet, SC, where she resided with her son and daughter-in-law until her death.

Marilyn moved to Washington D.C after high school where she worked as a secretary for the Marine Corps.

Marilyn met and married Jacob in 1954.

After they married Marilyn and Jacob traveled through the United States while Jacob was enlisted in the U.S. Air Force.

After retiring in 1968, the moved back to Oswego for three years.

Afterwards, they moved to Fort Mill, S.C. where they resided until Jacob’s passing. missing or outdated ad config
