OSWEGO, NY – Mary J. Mesiano, 77, a resident of County Route 7, Oswego, passed away Wednesday June 22, 2011, at home, surrounded by her loving family.
Born in Oswego, she was the daughter of the Alfred and Leonarda (Ferlito) Bonacorsi.
Mary worked as a secretary for Oswego City Savings bank for 26 ½ years.
She had a love for animals and enjoyed cooking and baking.
Surviving is her loving husband of 59 years, Anthony A. Mesiano; a brother, John (Amy) Bonacorsi; two sisters-in-law, Mary Poirier and Grace Bonacorsi; three brothers-in-law, Archie, Harry and Richard Polifroni; several nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her siblings, Anthony, Joseph, Samuel and Alfred Bonacorsi and Jean Crandell.
Funeral services will be held 10:30 a.m. Friday, at St. Joseph’s Church.
Entombment will be in All-Saints Mausoleum, St. Peter’s Cemetery.
Calling hours will be held 8:30 to 10:30 a.m. Friday, prior to the service, at the Nelson Funeral Home, 11 W. Albany St., Oswego.
