OSWEGO, NY – Mary J. Musacchio of Oswego passed away peacefully Saturday April 23, 2016.
She was born in Oswego and was the daughter of the late Samuel and Mary Mondello Bosco.
Mrs. Musacchio was the widow of the late John A. Musacchio (a.k.a. Jan Stuart) who died in 2008.
She was known to be a caring woman who loved her family and friends dearly.
She graciously put the needs of others first.
When visiting her home, you were in store for a fantastic meal.
She was a life resident of Oswego and a communicant of St. Mary’s Church, where she sang in the choir with several family members and friends.
She also sang in St. Joseph’s Church choir and delighted audiences for many years as a vocalist with the Jan Stuart Orchestra.
She had been employed at SUNY Oswego.
She is survived by one daughter, Lygia Ann Musacchio of Utica; a daughter-in-law, Janet Musacchio of Oswego; one grandson, John Anthony Musacchio of Albany; and many beloved nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was predeceased by her son, William F. Musacchio, in 2012; two sisters, Theresa Bosco and Anna Geers; and three brothers, Francis Bosco, Samuel Bosco and Joseph Bosco.
Funeral services will be Wednesday at 10 a.m. at St. Mary’s Church.
Burial will be in St. Peter’s Cemetery.
