Mary T. Meehan, 63

OSWEGO, NY – Mary T. Meehan, 63, of Liverpool, NY, and a former resident of Oswego, passed away peacefully on Tuesday December 23, 2014, at Crouse Hospital in Syracuse, surrounded by her loving family.

Mary was born in Oswego, the daughter of the late Clifford “Chip” Vincent, and Helen (VanAuken) Vincent.

She had lived in Liverpool for the last 10 years.

Mary attended St. Mary’s Catholic School and Oswego Public High School.

She also attended Auburn Community College.

Prior to her retirement in 2006, she was employed for more than 30 years at the Nine Mile Point nuclear stations for Niagara Mohawk Power Corporation/Constellation Energy/Exelon.

Mary is survived by two sons, Michael (Shannon) Meehan of Fairfax, Va. and Matthew (Kelly Ellis) Meehan of Fairfax, Va.; a brother, Richard (Melanie) Vincent of Syracuse; three sisters, Madeline “Mickey” (Robert) Sullivan of Syracuse, Sister Margaret Vincent of Kansas City and Beth (David Baber) Balduzzi of Murrels Inlet, SC; four grandchildren, Abigail, Olivia, Jack and Audrey, whom she adored; and several nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by a brother, Michael Vincent.

Her family would like to thank Dr. Cherny, Dr. Morbidini and their wonderful staffs at Hematology-Oncology Associates; Dr. Shapiro at Upstate Medical Center; and the entire staff on 4 South at Crouse Hospital.

Funeral services will be private.

Calling hours will be held from 4 to 7 p.m. Monday, December 29, at the Dain-Cullinan Funeral Home, 112 E. Second St., Oswego.
